The R1 is fitted with drop handlebars with slightly wider bars than you would usually find on a road bike, and they also have a 10 degree flare. Wider bars give more ride control and capacity for bar bags (bike packing) which are very popular now on day rides even. Plus, plenty of room for your handlebar furniture (lights, GPS, bell, Phone bracket etc)We ve also specified room for up to 34c tyres (brand depending), or 30c tyres with full mudguards and mounts for a pannier rack. The R1 features our Kinesis Rider Fit Geometry to give better fit and more consistent handling for a wider range of riders. The smallest size has a semi sloping top tube for greater seat post extension increasing the comfort. Longer reaches (recommended for use with shorter stems) mean there is less toe overlap on the smaller sizes and improves the handling on the larger sizes eliminating the need to run a long stem to achieve the correct fit.Size Chart:
